Designated as the most beautiful cenote in Chiapas, Chukumaltik is a cenote that has a diameter of about 200 meters and a depth of 70 meters. Its first main characteristic is the possibility of observing its waters up to about 40 meters deep. This is possible thanks to its crystal clear waters. Moreover, the temperature of this water court is relatively constant and oscillates between 23 and 24 degrees; thus allowing the practice of the first activity in this place: diving.
The second peculiarity is undoubtedly what is under its waters. And, among other things, you will be able to find a magnificent statue of the Virgen de los Dolores, sulfur chimneys, secret caves and also quartz deposits.

The Jaguar Cenote is a beautiful and peaceful place with a fauna consisting mainly of mangrove, but also some small fish in the water.
You are probably wondering where the name “Jaguar” comes from? In fact, this animal is linked to the underworld, to darkness and to caves, which represent the entrance to the underworld. The Jaguar is one of the most represented animals of the Mayan culture. It is the protector of both darkness and light.

It is located in Las Rosas, a 2 hour and 10 minute drive from the center of Chiapas via Carr. Internacional and CHIS 101 and 1 hour and 57 minutes from Angel Albino Corzo International Airport.
With a shape rather similar to those found in the archaeological area of Chichen Itza in the Yucatan, Cenote Miramar is located at an altitude of nearly two thousand meters with a diameter of about 50 meters and a depth of about 70 meters and is the most visited between December and March. Its particularity is without a doubt the turquoise color of its waters.
The activities at this site are the walk in the forest of oaks and pines and the visit of the birds and animals of the zone.
In addition, as it is located in the Llano Grande Ejido, you can also contemplate a waterfall of about 300 meters high. The landscape is just heavenly!
